Potential candidates can put themselves forward for election, having been proposed and seconded in writing (via e-mail) by two separate voting clubs by no later than July 31st 2026 signed by the club secretary and another officer of the club, to the County Administration Secretary, Charlie McGinty Email: cmcginty61@gmail.com

The CB Executive has decided to support Jason (Yorkie) Kinmond, our immediate past President, who will be very well known to all of you as a real rugby person who has served the County and the community game in Warwickshire for many years.

If there is only one candidate. The County Administration Secretary will inform Clubs of the result. If there is more than one candidate, it will be necessary to hold an election.

If this is the case the County Administration Secretary will send out ballot papers and any other supporting documents via email with a closing date of Friday 28th August 2026 for votes to be submitted by email to the returning officer which will be the County Administration Secretary - Charlie McGinty. The County Administration Secretary will then inform the candidates and clubs of the result.

The County Administration Secretary will inform Twickenham by no later than 31 August, the name of the successful candidate, who will then take up the Council role with the RFU to represent Warwickshire RFU Ltd.

In the meanwhile, Charlie McGinty is interim Warwickshire CB representative on the RFU Council.
