Planning is underway for the Team Warwickshire Women and Girls 2026/27 season across the Under-16 Player Development Group, Under-18 Girls and Senior Women’s programmes.

Key dates have now been scheduled for each age group, including assessments, training sessions and representative fixtures. Several venues and opposition details remain to be confirmed and will be added as arrangements progress.
This will remain an ongoing report and will be updated throughout the season.

Under-16 Player Development Group
The coaching team for the 2026/27 Under-16 PDG programme is now in place and remains unchanged from last season.
Linzi Taylor will continue to lead the programme, supported by assistant coaches Megan Gardner and Erin Cameron.

Both assessment sessions have been scheduled and will be held at Newbold RFC. Training dates have also been confirmed, although the venues remain to be finalised. We are continuing to look for a suitable training location in central Coventry but have been unable to find a venue with the required availability so far.
The budget for the 2026/27 Under-16 PDG programme is still to be completed.

Under-18 Girls
The Head Coach position for the Under-18 Girls programme has been advertised. Two applications were received; however, only one applicant has responded to the invitation to interview. The interview is being scheduled for this week.
Further updates regarding the appointment and wider coaching team will be added once the recruitment process has concluded.
The budget for the 2026/27 Under-18 Girls programme is still to be completed.
