At the back-end of March you will have received a message inviting you to attend one of this summer's HRGC Grounds Events. So far most persons from the county who have registered to go are attending the Derby RFC event on 7th May 2025 - Thanks!

Spaces are still available (overnight accommodation is on a first come first served basis) To enhance your day special Guest Speakers Kelly-Marie Clack, Agronomy and Technical Manager at Origin Amenity Solutions & Alex Vickers, Turf Consultant are confirmed together with a number of other speakers from The Grounds Maintenance Association along with demonstrations by Campey Turf Care

Attendance will benefit anyone who is involved hands-on looking after playing surfaces and grounds. In addition, the workshops at the events are aimed at and almost certainly will be of great interest for those of you who are not directly involved in hands-on pitch maintenance.

Even if your club has a ‘contractor’ to carrying out pitch maintenance it is important that the club has one or more persons with an understanding of the performance of playing surface(s) to ensure the best instructions are given. In this case a little knowledge is a good thing.

Those clubs who are engaged with GMA, especially those who have had a pitch advisor visit or have requested one will find the events especially of useful. These HRGC Events are inextricably linked to the GMA who will be in attendance. Many of you will now be aware that many clubs in the county are benefitting from substantial pitch maintenance grants as a direct result of their engagement with HRGC & GMA.

Below you will find the details of the two Honda Rugby Grounds Events being held this year. The events have been ‘freshened' and are more comprehensive to those who have attended one in the past. Book now!
